Life on the beautiful Dorset coastline can be traced back at least 200 million years, a complete skeleton of the Ichthyosaurus being found not far from the shoreline above in 1811.  It is only in recent times however, that Baha'is have been discovered in the area, living, as Thomas Hardy would have said, 'far from the madding crowd'
